Today, the 2018 Hackaday Prize has launched. In its 5th year, we have great faith in the creative, engineering, and maker community to Build Hope.
The Hackaday Prize has always been about helping to better the world that we live in, and this year’s Prize challenges us all to do it again.
Five kickass challenges spanning open hardware, robotics, power harvesting, human-computer interface, and musical instruments.
$200,000 split between 105 awards
$1 per like in the seed challenge round (happening NOW)
Ten achievement goals like the Voltron, the Macgyver, and the Diva Plavalaguna
Sixteen incredibly talented judges (fun fact: Ladyada was the first Hackaday Prize judge)
