Thanks to Alex for sending us this tip – we’re always happy to see an infographic! Alex writes:
My goal is to educate the public and to see the incorporation of drones into all lines of work. I have just finished working on an infographic on drones and agriculture, I would love for you guys to check it out…
From DroneFly:
The use of drones in agriculture is the future. Heavy lift drones capable of crop dusting and drones equipped with multispectral sensors will change the way in which farming is done. Having a drone that can survey a large area of land and can check on crop health using multispectral sensors frequently will allow farmers to be more informed on the status of their fields. With greater insights into crop field health and easy livestock monitoring, we will continue to see drones take over this sector.
Welcome to drone day on the Adafruit blog. Every Monday we deliver the latest news, products and more from the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), quadcopter and drone communities. Drones can be used for video & photography (dronies), civil applications, policing, farming, firefighting, military and non-military security work, such as surveillance of pipelines. Previous posts can be found via the #drone tag and our drone / UAV categories.
