From Angela Sheehan on Hackster.io:
Battlestar Galactica-inspired costume with a detachable light up spine. Created as a demonstration for a workshop I presented at TempleCon on costuming with electronics. This is a work in progress that I’m going to revisit and refine for DragonCon 2018.
The project was created with small, sewable electronics – the LilyTiny Mini from TinyCircuits and Flora NeoPixels. This allowed a really small, thin profile for the spine piece. I ended up using a 12mm coin cell battery holder from Aniomagic (no longer produced) that was the same size as the other components. I’m going to upgrade the project to something that will last a longer portion of the day in the future.
