The ORCA mini sequencer and environment is programmed in ASCII text #MIDI #Music #Sequencer

Are you tired of learning specialized MIDI sequencer interfaces? Maybe you’d like to try ORCA. Available for OSX, Windows and Linux, ORCA is programmed in a text environment which responds very much like your text editor. From the GitHub page:

Each letter of the alphabet is an operation, lowercase letters operate on bang(*), uppercase letters operate each frame. Have a look at some project created with #ORCΛ, or some example files. Here’s an introduction video. You can see the design notes for specs and upcoming features. If you need some help, visit the chatroom.

For a portable version of Orca, built entirely in C, visit Orca-c.

The guide for which ASCII characters do what, here is a guide.
