The Magical GIF Art of Alexandra Dvornikova #ArtTuesday

Have you ever been to a GIF art gallery opening? It’s a testament to how fast the future turns into the past that the notion of an art gallery filled with flatscreens rolling GIF art seems just a bit dated. But that’s ok. Art doesn’t really seem like art unless it’s either just a bit from the future or excavated from the distant past. GIF art is a bit of both. Residing in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Dvornikova spends her days creating and sharing her talents. Her artwork is infused with her love of nature. She creates in a space where no eyes can see her, private and invisible to an audience until the piece is done. As a digital artist, Dvornikova comprises her work with her imagination, memories, bytes of information, and endless pixels.
