Absolutely stunning build from Studson Studio. The project video shows every step in full detail. Brilliant use of ordinary garbage – pizza box stack savers, train wheels, noise makers, domed apple containers. One of my favorite scenes in all of animated cinema is when Sophie cleans Howl’s castle – tidying and discarding trash in a frenzy, while Calcifer shouts at her in the background! So using trash for this build feels extra fitting.
Howl’s Moving Castle. It’s big (21″ tall). It’s heavy-ish (4.2 lbs). It’s made out of junk (mostly). Help yourself to a full breakfast and strap yourself in to the merry-go-round of life for almost a full hour. In total, this project took roughly 300-400 hours spread over 60 days to complete.
