Alicia, a.k.a. VertVixen, crafted some impressive Lich Queen armor that she wore at the most recent BlizzCon. She 3D modeled and 3D printed ninety percent of the costume. She used Zbrush for the modeling portion of the project. Her digital mannequin is rather clever; she has a scan of herself a friend took of her using a Kinect. VertVixen says it’s not a perfect form, but she can use it as the base for her designs. Tested goes into the process of the build in the above video, and you can see things like the digital 3D models.
