Glowing Light Bulb #3DPrinting #3DThursday

Mike-vom-Mars shares:

Glowing (self-luminous), decorative light bulb.

To be printed with self-luminous (glowing) PLA. Two versions: Self-standing or hanging light bulb.

Bulb:

Print with self-luminous (glowing) PLA.
Print it upright (as provided in the .stl file)
Wall thickness: 0.8mm or more
No supports
No infill
Use raft for best adhesion
Socket:

Print with silver PLA (or use chrome effect spray paint afterwards)
Print the normal socket for a self-standing bulb
Or print the socket with ring for a hanging bulb
Recommended infill: ~5%
Post Print:

Use any glue to stick the socket and the bulb together.
Use chrome effect or silver spray for the socket, which gives a nice metallic look.
