For some cosplayers, body paint and/or prosthetics can be a turn-off or a dealbreaker for costumes. But Takatsuki didn’t let either element stop her from becoming Dende from the Dragon Ball franchise. She made a prosthetic head extension — kind of a helmet really — and covered her face in green paint to become the Namekian healer.
She shared a look at the crafting process on Twitter. She showed a close-up look at the gloves, which she dyed to make the right shade of green, and a makeup test:
Takatsuki used Miracle Paint to transform herself.
