Google Pixel Buds language translation tested by BBC #WearableWednesday

The Google Pixel Buds are an impressive piece of technology and are definitely a sign of what the future has in store. BBC took the device for a spin and while it did manage to translate a lot, there is still a long way to go.

Google says its new Pixel Buds headphones can translate speech when paired with its latest Android smartphone – but how well do they perform?

The BBC’s Rory Cellan-Jones tried them out with several of the broadcaster’s language services journalists -he experienced mixed results.
