Rogue One introduced a new type of Imperial trooper to the Star Wars universe: death troopers. With all black armor and ominous green glowing lights, the troopers have an intimidating countenance. Redditor superherodiy recently completed his build of the death trooper helmet, and though it looks smooth enough to be a cohesive piece, it was actually assembled from multiple pieces. He explains:
Hey yep it was 3D printed in about 16 pieces! It was VERY time consuming to print that way and it actually made me cave and get a Creality CR-10 S4 for the big print surface. In the future I could print a whole helmet in one piece. But still super time consuming ….
