On her 8th birthday, Redditor JediTrooper‘s daughter said she wanted to be a trooper like her dad — specifically as stormtrooper from Star Wars. A few years ago, she proudly donned a Rey costume and props, but she’s been admiring her father’s trooper armor. He crafted the costume for her by hand and used, you guessed it, EVA foam. He explains:
I hand cut all of it out of 1/4” EVA foam using paper templates I found online. It is then assembled using contact cement, I shaped the pieces with a heat gun. Used techniques I learned watching Evil Ted on YouTube.
