Mini drawer for CR-10, fully customziable #3Dprinting #3DThursday

Thing files for Mini drawer for CR 10 fully customziable by klingler Thingiverse

klingler shared this project on Thingiverse!

In the pictures I just printed the drawer twice with 2×1 configuration as in the OpenSCAD/STL files.

For mounting I just used double sided duct tape…

Printing the drawer:

I used my Ender-3 with a 0.4mm to print the drawer in vase mode, but set the extruder diameter to 0.8mm instead of 0.44mm to get thicker walls….layer height was set to 0.25mm and bottom solid layers to 2.

Printing the drawer case:

This was printed on my CR-10S with a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height.
You might also use a 0.4mm nozzle and experiment with the extruder width settings.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
