This may not have been the notion behind the idea of 30 year media cycles, but here we are: some of the early games from the pioneering virtual reality company Virtuosity Tech’s pod-like Virtuality SU 2000 may be ported for modern VR gear. These games include the legendary Dactyl Nightmare. Here’s more from Road to VR:
…VirtuosityTech CEO Michael Cheatham says that the company intends on bringing its library of early VR games to today’s VR platforms.
Games currently on the table for porting include Dactyl Nightmare 2, Buggy Ball, Ghost Train, Missile Command, Virtuality Boxing, Zone Hunter, Pac-Man VR, X-Treme Strike, and Shoot for Loot.
