Lithopane lamp E14 #3DThursday #3DPrinting

Lithopane lamp E14 by Roldman Thingiverse

Customize a nightlight, shared by Roldman on Thingiverse:

Base: Can be printet without support. I chose to print with support just to be sure.
~13 hours

Rack: No support needed. Slide for lithopane is 4mm
~6 hours

Lid/top: This I printet with support laying down, just to make sure the edges were supported. You may want to increase infill on this one to 15 ish, to get a more pretty surface.
~3 hours

Above print is with printspeed 70mm/s

For added strength in the connection between the base and the rack, you can drop a bit of glue in the holes.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
