DIN-Rail Adapter for Raspberry Pi 4 Case #3DPrinting #3DThursday

DIN Rail Adapter for Raspberry Pi 4 Case by SamWhiskey Thingiverse

SamWhiskey shared this project on Thingiverse!

Adapter to mount the Raspberry Pi 4 case from JOY-IT to a DIN-Rail.

This is an adapter to mount the Raspberry Pi 4 case ALUCASEP4+08 from JOY-IT to a DIN-Rail.

I did not find a good solution for a DIN-Rail case so I decided to use this standard case and applying an adapter. The case is fully out of aluminum and gives a good passive cooling to the Raspberry Pi 4. By (ab)using the cable slot of the extension slot cable no drilling or other work is necessary on the case.

There is also variant to attach an SSD (Intenso Portable SSD Premium) for a file server application.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
