A Raspberry Pi Pico ‘pal’ we’re knocking around in our CAD software today

whenever we start making add-ons we always do a protoboard first, and so it is that this is adafruit’s first design for a Raspi Pico add-on. it’s the simplest and ‘cheapest’ to start – just a through-hole PCB with a spot for a THM reset button and some pads for creating a custom wiring jig. there’s not really enough space for a DIP chip plus holes on either side so we went with just strips of pads, with power buses, a ground bus, and all the GPIO broken out. we can use this as we design more boards! now all we need is a name for what to call these pico pals… stay tuned, we have some ideas 🙂
