You can use this model if you want to propagate the plant in a glass of water and at the same time keep it upright. You simply fold this holder from only the 3 printed parts that fit together perfectly.
To save materials, this holder uses any round glass as a container. The size of the glass and the stem can be adjusted very easily and quickly in a few clicks
The whole holder works by inserting the cut part of the plant stem between the 2 semicircles (caps) which are clicked in the main part of the holder, which is attached to the glass. After the roots have grown on the stem, just remove the 2 caps and plant the plant in the desired place. The entire holder can be reused.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
