Building a Lego-Powered Submarine with Automatic Depth Control #piday #raspberrypi @Raspberry_Pi

I initially saw this project as my partner was thumbing through TikTok, “Whoa whoa whoa! Go back. Was that a Pi?” Since we’re all here now, yes, it was a Pi. I was excited to be right but that feeling was quickly eclipsed when the magnets came out to play. A quick search later found me bookmarking this article from Tom’s Hardware so I could share this Lego Submarine from Brick Experiment Channel with you!

This radio-controlled submarine can maintain a steady depth or a certain distance from the bottom. It is equipped with a pressure sensor and a laser distance sensor. Raspberry Pi and PID control are used for automation.
