Anyone who’s messed around with hobby robotics knows that one of the big design challenges is a robot that can reliably climb stairs.
In this James Bruton video, he sets out to experiment with a stair climbing design he saw in a video. The build quickly gets complicated.
The final design does work, but James has to manually control it and it take 7 minutes to climb a small run of stairs.
As usual, this give James an idea for a improved design which he plans to explore in a future video.
