Gender-Swapped Yondu Cosplay with LED Elements

Redditor CheetosOnToast went to her first comic convention over the weekend and wore her first ever cosplay. She decided to dress as Guardians of the Galaxy’s Yondu for Tokyo Comic Con. She’s worn costumes for Halloween but hasn’t done anything on this scale. She made the ensemble herself and was able to modify an existing jacket to make it look like Yondu’s. CheetosonToast went all out, too, and included LEDs to add glowing touches to Yondu’s special arrow and fin. She says:

The jacket used to belong to my friend during his goth days in high school. I tore off the crappy belts and sewed on a bunch of leather pieces and spray painted it red. The fin is made out out of styrofoam, cardboard, and paper mache. The arrow is made out of plastic tubes and I had a friend help me wire LED lights into the fin and arrow.
