This Tech Sweater Will Make You Say Oh Christmas Tree #WearableWednesday #wearabletech #DIY #Arduino #uglysweater #holiday

The holiday spirit continues with this glorious ugly sweater by Clayton Anderson. There are plenty of treats here including some traditional garland, jingle bells and miniature nutcrackers, as well as some modern tech like an Arduino and LEDs. I’m loving all the colors of wire used here and of course the star is as named thanks to some code that allows it to glow different colors. The question is whether Clayton also lasercut his felt tree—a mystery that only the maker can reveal. Who will be next for a holiday LED extravaganza? It’s not too late to start; just grab our Circuit Playground microcontroller and make it the center of attention on your sweater. It has a bevy of built-in LEDs that even a North Pole Santa can’t miss. Don’t forget to send us a video of your creation!
