TOMBOT ‘The Bionic Barkeep’ Uses Adafruit Tech to Pour Exactly 30ml of @Dewars Scotch Whisky

Thanks to the multiple people who sent this in recently!

Spotted over at Motherboard, roboticist Robb Godshaw built TOMBOT ‘The Bionic Barkeep’ for the Dewar’s blended Scotch whisky brand and some Adafruit components & parts make cameos and appearances in the video 🙂

Perfection is a moving target. Especially when you’re single-handedly bringing a personality-filled robot to life. For roboticist Robb Godshaw and his companion TOMBOT, it’s all about the process. Robb’s dedication to his craft comes through in the smallest details, each carefully chosen element coming together to bring his unique vision into the world.

Also reminds me of the bionic bartenders B1-0 and N1-C who serve aboard the cruise ship MS Quantum of the Seas.
