If I’ve learned one thing from Star Wars, it’s that the most comfortable outfits are the robes worn by the Jedi. They might not be made from the softest material, but they’re voluminous and probably excellent to have on a rainy or cold day. Maker Keyaroscuro has an alternative pattern than the usual Jedi robes, but they’re seen in the films and approved for the Rebel Legion. It’s a hooded cape with side splits. She used black amaretto linen for the robe and tabbards. She says:
For fabric, I used black amaretto linen. Everything is single layered except the tabbards, which are reinforced with an extra layer of fabric to help balance the weight, and it came out to be roughly six to seven yards for me. Depending on your body measurements, desired style, and fabric, you’ll want two to three yards for your tabbards and hood, and about four to five continuous yards for the body of the cloak. The broader your shoulders and body, the larger your tabbards and the top of the cloak will be, so the more fabric you will need.
