From heat waves to tropical storms, there are a lot of reasons you may loose power in the summer. This useful experiment attempted to determine how long your food will stay frozen and essentially still safe to eat.

Using a temperature sensor and Raspberry pi computer to work out how long it will take for food in a freezer to melt when the power goes out, also how much that time is reduced every time you open the freezer door.
