Dog Bowl Water Bottle Carrier With Lanyard and Belt Clip #3DThursday #3DPrinting

Dog Bowl Water Bottle Carrier With Lanyard and Belt Clip by scifiguy Thingiverse

Keep your parched pooch hydrated with this print from scifiguy on Thingiverse:

This is a remix of Dog Bowl Water Bottle Carrier, thing number 119689. I added a flat back for stability, a lanyard slot, and belt clip.

The belt clip is from the “KEY-BAK Key Holder, Belt Clip Key Accessory with Split Ring & Steel Belt Clip” available on Amazon (https://ift.tt/3he59CT).

The lanyard is common paracord. Cut a little more than the length you want, fold in half, insert the folded center into the passage in the back of the water bottle carrier, and pull through the top. Hold the 2 cut ends together, side by side, and heat with a lighter until they mushroom and stick to each other. Let cool, and pull into the slot until it locks in place.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
