The new Ghost in the Shell adaptation features the robot geisha. Weta Workshop used practical skills and animatronics to create the masks in frightening detail. Aristargirl Cosplay, a.k.a. Ali, may not have had quite the same resources as Weta, but she slayed with her replica of the mask anyway. She started with a face mold she crafted from masking tape. As you can see in the above photo, she used the mold to identify where each line/gap would go. She explains:
1 top left, face mold with masking tape; 2 top right, worbla shaping over the face; 3 bottom left, mask with additional details; 4 bottom right, the finished product!
