‘Internet Connected Story Book’ uses Particle Photon, Chibitronics & Conductive Fabric, LilyPad, and More!

This is pretty rad! Jill Dawson sent in her first WiFi-connected book and the results are fantastic. Imagine a storybook that interacts with online data or user-triggered events. Her blog gives a good overview of the project and the Instructables offers a thorough walkthrough and perspective into how the book was designed, tested, and completed. I especially love seeing the spine with conductive fabric traces, and reading about tricks like the ‘nail polish’ insulator. Also how cool is it to say “I have to recharge my book.”
