One of the main reasons why she is leaving home is that she needs more interaction with people. She is afraid of new technical stuff, like mobile phones, which is why I decided to put together a Raspberry Pi-based video conferencing unit that she does not have to touch at all. There is no turning on / off, no starting of any calls. I wrote this instruction about how I put together this unit to help anyone who has to take care of senior people.
