Live Power Line Makes Abstract Art #ArtTuesday

Electric transmission lines up on the big towers carry high voltage electricity. Typically they carry about 345,000 volts over the long distances between the power generation plants and customers. In local subtransmission lines the voltage is decreased to feed the majority of business, small industrial and residential customers, to about 13,800 volts. But that’s enough to make some great abstract art in suburban New Jersey. Reported at TwistedSifter.
