Redditor and YouTuber AK Everything has spent three months working on a Daft Punk helmet. The work has resulted in a complex build that you can see in action with dazzling lights here. He’s working on a build video for his YouTube channel but for now, I had to share a first look at the finished product. He says:
I did pretty much everything you see. I did have the chip programmed though. It took me 6 days to solder the all the board components and LEDs. The lens was vacuum formed and the shell made from smooth-on products. I 3D printed most of the internal structure also.
