Scientist and NASA astronaut Don Pettit explains why he embraces the Maker mindset – Infosys Foundation USA shared this video on Youtube!
Don Pettit is a NASA Astronaut, who has flown three times to the International Space Station and spent over one year living there. While in space he invented the Zero Gravity Cup, which received the first ever patent for an object invented in space. In this video he explains why he embraces the maker movement. Tell us why YOU make! Post your videos, stories and blogs with hashtag #WhyIMake and spread the word. www.WhyIMake.org
Life on Space Station is very different than life on earth. Simple things on earth could become more complicated in space and you have to create, modify or make something that will either solve a problem or allow you to investigate something completely new.
