Being a avid aviation buff and pilot, and wanting to learn how the E-Paper display worked I set out to create a METAR Display. It snowballed into a full blown application with multiple display layouts to choose from.
This project uses the 7×5 3-color E-Paper display available from Waveshare. The 3rd color added a lot of options to the design of the layouts. There are currently 8 separate layouts, each unique in its design and information displayed.
