Robot maker Jorvon Moss has created a really cute and cool “wearable robot friend” name Asi. The goal of the project was to create a 3D printed robot as simply as possible for those somewhat new to 3D printing a “larger” project and new to soldering and working with electronics.
Asi is a six-legged bot, but the legs are passive and are made to grip the bot onto the top of your head. One servo is used to move Asi’s head back and forth and the bot has LED eyes.
The project is fully documented on maker.io.
This would make a great addition to a Halloween costume. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer, you can even get the parts printed out through Digi-Key’s print service.
